On September 25, as reported by COINOTAG, Arkham monitoring disclosed that a long-dormant Bitcoin whale executed a significant transfer, moving approximately $3.17 million worth of Bitcoin. This particular wallet had remained inactive since receiving the Bitcoins 13 years ago. Notably, the wallet transferred 20 Bitcoins (equivalent to around $1.27 million) to Bitstamp and an additional 30 Bitcoins to an unidentified address. In a parallel development reported just a day prior, another ancient Bitcoin wallet reactivated after a decade, transferring 5 BTC to Kraken while still retaining 1,215 BTC. Such movements by dormant Bitcoin addresses highlight a potentially intriguing trend within the cryptocurrency market, signaling possible future shifts.
