Grayscale's Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC) has seen a surge in investor interest after BlackRock recently filed a spot Bitcoin ETF application with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The trading volume of GBTC has increased by almost 400% since BlackRock's application, rising from $16.1 million to $80 million. Additionally, the price difference between GBTC and Bitcoin has started to close rapidly after the application.

Bitcoin has experienced a surge in the last 24 hours, bringing joy to cryptocurrency investors. Within a short period of time, Bitcoin has risen from $26,600 to $29,000, reaching its highest level since the beginning of May.

Invesco, a US asset manager with $1.4 trillion in assets under management, has applied for a spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF).

With Bitcoin surpassing $29,000, over 47,000 investors were liquidated and BTC's volume increased by 92%.

According to Moody's analysts, the United States' slow progress on cryptocurrency regulations could make the country less attractive to both companies and investors. A report published by Moody's Investors Service suggests that if the US cannot reach a consensus on crypto regulations, it may become less appealing as other countries move forward with their own rules.
