The team of developers behind Floki Inu moved quickly to create a new dog-themed token, capitalizing on Musk’s influence on the price action of these memecoins. On September 12, FLOKI was already trading when Elon Musk announced that his family had finally adopted the puppy. FLOKI aims to combat food insecurity around the world.
Memecoin experienced a significant price increase in the first few months of its existence. Initially, FLOKI was listed as one millionth of a cent. However, September saw the memecoin hit all-time highs (ATHs) with the price soaring by more than 250,000%.
Floki Inu has a total supply of 10 trillion tokens, of which around 50% is estimated to have been burned on the Ethereum and BNB network. At the time of this writing (November 1, 2021), FLOKI currently has a market cap of $530 million.
