Canadian fintech Pineapple Financial announced the launch of a collateralized loan tokenization platform on the Injective blockchain, signaling a full migration of its loan book onto distributed ledger technology. The plan covers more than 29,000 collateralized loans with a combined value near $10 billion, expanding blockchain-enabled credit access.

To date, Pineapple has tokenized over 1,200 loan files valued at about $4.12 billion. Each tokenized record embeds upward of 500 data points, designed to improve transparency, due diligence, and operational efficiency across origination, custody, and settlement workflows.

This initiative positions Pineapple at the forefront of collateralized lending on public ledgers, leveraging Injective to enhance interoperability and risk controls. Stakeholders should monitor ongoing governance and auditability as tokenization scales across the portfolio.
