Air China and Webus Partner to Enable XRP Payments for PhoenixMiles Members via Wetour

Nasdaq-listed Webus International Limited (WETO) announced a strategic cooperation agreement with international carrier Air China, assigning its travel brand Wetour to deliver coordinated airport transfer and high-end customized driver services to Air China’s global passenger base.

Under the arrangement, Webus will leverage Wetour’s overseas platform to serve members of Air China’s loyalty programme, PhoenixMiles, which exceeds 60 million members worldwide, providing tailored ground mobility solutions and membership-aligned service offerings.

The partnership also contemplates support for XRP payments to enable faster settlement, the issuance of tokenized rewards and use of blockchain-supported credentials linked to membership benefits, with implementation subject to future commercial development and applicable regulatory compliance.
