COINOTAG News reports, citing an official announcement, that Binance will support the upcoming BNB Smart Chain BEP20 network upgrade and hard fork for ecosystem stability and continuity of services.

To facilitate the transition, Binance will conduct maintenance on the BEP20 wallet of the BNB Smart Chain on December 16, 2025 at 14:00 (UTC+8). Deposits and withdrawals will be suspended from 13:55 (UTC+8), with services expected to resume after approximately one hour.

A subsequent network upgrade and hard fork are scheduled for January 14, 2026 at 10:30 (UTC+8), during which BEP20 deposits and withdrawals will be paused from 10:25 (UTC+8) onward.
