COINOTAG reported on August 27 that, per Deribit data, a scheduled options expiry at 4:00 PM Beijing time this Friday will see 102,000 BTC options expire. The aggregate notional value for Bitcoin options is quoted at $11.34 billion, with a Put Call Ratio of 0.79 and a max pain level at $116,000.

The same dataset shows Ethereum options carrying a max pain point of $3,800, a notional value of $3.19 billion and a put/call ratio of 0.76, highlighting concentrated open interest ahead of expiry.
