COINOTAG News reported on August 27 that Onchain Lens data recorded a significant whale transfer: an address moved 500 BTC to Binance, a deposit valued at approximately $55.37 million at current market rates. The on-chain transaction ID and exchange deposit flag were visible in public ledger analytics.

Chain history shows the receiving wallet initially amassed 5,000 BTC roughly four years ago, a position valued near $282 million at that time. Tracing further back, those coins originated from an address active about 12 years ago, when Bitcoin traded near $322 per coin.

Following the recent movement, the wallet retains about 3,500 BTC, with an estimated remaining value of $387 million. Market participants and institutional analysts monitoring exchange inflows may treat the deposit as a quantifiable liquidity event reflected in on-chain metrics.
