Bybit Hacker Launders 45,900 ETH in Just 24 Hours, Totals 135,000 ETH ($335 Million) Stolen

According to a recent update from COINOTAG News on February 26th, the Bybit hacker has successfully laundered a staggering 45,900 ETH, valued at approximately $113 million, within the last 24 hours. This figure brings the total laundered amount to 135,000 ETH, equivalent to nearly $335 million, indicating that the hacker has disposed of roughly one-third of the initial stolen assets. Notably, the hacker’s address currently retains a substantial holding of 363,900 ETH, which is around $900 million. If this laundering trajectory persists, analysts predict that the complete obfuscation of the stolen funds could occur within a mere 8 to 10 days. This development highlights the ongoing challenges in combating cryptocurrency crimes and the need for robust security measures within the digital asset space.
