According to data from ChainCatcher and insights from on-chain analyst Ai, a prominent Ethereum whale identified as “ETH 1CO 1 million ETH whale” executed a direct sale of 1,000 ETH approximately 8 hours ago. The transaction, valued at around $2.61 million, was executed at a significantly low holding cost of roughly $0.31 per ETH. Since July 2024, this investor has liquidated a substantial portion of their holdings, totaling 358,599.97 ETH, generating an aggregate cash-out exceeding $897 million. Despite these sales, the whale’s wallet retains a balance of 23,619 ETH, currently valued at approximately $61.56 million based on prevailing market prices. This activity highlights notable liquidity movements within the Ethereum ecosystem, reflecting strategic portfolio adjustments by major holders amid evolving market conditions.
