Ethereum Liquidation Intensity Set to Surge Beyond $1.7 Billion if Price Dips Below $3,600

On July 23, data from Coinglass highlights critical liquidation thresholds for Ethereum on major centralized exchanges (CEXs). Should Ethereum’s price dip below $3,600, the aggregate long liquidation intensity is projected to hit approximately $1.79 billion. Conversely, a breakout above $3,800 could trigger short liquidation intensity nearing $1.186 billion. It is important to note that these figures represent relative liquidation intensity rather than exact contract quantities or liquidation values.

The liquidation chart serves as a valuable analytical tool by illustrating the potential market impact at specific price levels. Each bar on the chart reflects the comparative strength of liquidation clusters, indicating how sharply the market might react when Ethereum approaches these critical price points. A taller liquidation bar signals a heightened liquidity wave, suggesting increased volatility and market movement as positions are forcibly closed.
