COINOTAG News, citing HyperInsight, reports that at 8:00 a.m. local time, whale address 0x218 deposited $1.4 million into Hyperliquid and opened a 10x ETH short with a notional of $6.3 million at an average entry price of $3,203. The move underscores a calibrated stance within the ETH market amid volatility.
That same address had earlier closed an ETH short at 2:00 a.m. yesterday, booking a total P&L of $5.02 million, before transferring $7.58 million to on-chain addresses.
Initial activity on Hyperliquid dates to the 28th, when the address deposited over $5 million as collateral and opened a large ETH short with 10x leverage. At that time, the “100% Win Rate” whale had already augmented a sizable ETH long position of about $196 million.
