Whale activity dominated the on-chain brief, with Hyperinsight noting a rotation among addresses. A BitMEX co‑founder liquidated roughly $5 million in ETH ecosystem tokens, including 780 ETH, 5,020,000 ENA, 640,000 LDO, 1,630 AAVE, 28,670 UNI, and 132,730 ETHFI.
A separate whale amassed 444,895 ETH (~$1.39B) and appears to be repositioning, withdrawing 177,000 ETH from Aave and sending 44,000 ETH to Binance, with a cost basis $3,437 and an unrealized loss around $125 million. Hyperliquid also shows a 5x ZEC short opened at $360, near $686 with a $1,084 liquidation, plus a 15x ETH short valued at $26 million and about $7 million floating gain.
Across a prominent player’s bets, BTC, XRP, and ZEC shorts total over $190 million. On the long side, about $22.29 million in a 5x ZEC position shows an $8.28 million unrealized gain with entry at $396.9 and liquidation at $358.44.
