COINOTAG News (September 11) reported that a pronounced rise in ETH withdrawals from the Ethereum PoS network was principally attributed to Kiln exiting its validator nodes, according to crypto KOL @sassal0x. Kiln is said to have held roughly 1.6 million ETH in stake, a substantial position within the network’s staking landscape.

@sassal0x further noted that the exiting ETH will “likely be re-staked with a new validator key,” indicating the funds are not expected to enter spot markets. Kiln also announced a phased withdrawal of its validators, citing the SwissBorg breach as the catalyst for a precautionary measure to preserve the integrity of its staked assets.
