On March 8th, COINOTAG reported that a community administrator for Linea’s Discord revealed the Token Generation Event (TGE) will not occur in the first quarter of the year. The development team is committed to transparency and will provide updates regarding the schedule as soon as it is finalized. Initially, in November, Linea, which is an Ethereum zkEVM Layer 2 Rollup backed by Consensys, announced the formation of the Linea Association to facilitate governance for the project. Early communications from the team had suggested that the TGE was expected to take place in Q1, highlighting the evolving nature of timelines in blockchain initiatives.
