On October 1, according to official news, Japanese publicly traded company Metaplanet significantly increased its Bitcoin holdings by acquiring an additional 107.91 BTC. Earlier, on September 10, Metaplanet disclosed its proactive strategy in the cryptocurrency market. The company exercised its eleventh round of stock acquisition rights, generating 299.7 million yen through the activation of 540,000 stock options. The stock delivery is projected to commence on September 18. Metaplanet has earmarked the proceeds from this exercise specifically for Bitcoin acquisitions.
