Newborn Technology Holdings to Invest Up to $5 Million in Bitcoin After Acquiring 24.29 BTC at $82,338 Each

Newborn Technology Holdings Limited has disclosed that its board plans to execute a Bitcoin purchase via a public cryptocurrency exchange, with an aggregate cap of $5 million (approximately HK$39 million) to bolster asset diversification and balance risk across its portfolio.

To date, the company has completed the purchase of around 24.29 bitcoins at an average cost of $82,338 per bitcoin, equating to a total investment near $2 million (about HK$15.6 million). Purchases will be timed according to market dynamics and price action. Because the accumulated stake is less than 5% of total holdings, the transaction does not yet trigger the disclosure requirements of Chapter 14 of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange listing rules; additional disclosures will be provided if necessary.
