On September 11, the Polygon Foundation confirmed completion of a targeted update that resolved a temporary transaction finalization disruption. The coordinated hard fork was executed successfully, with milestone and state synchronization returning to normal and checkpoint processing resuming; as a result, consensus finality on Polygon PoS has been fully restored.
Earlier, on September 10 the foundation reported a transient 10–15 minute delay in finality despite continuous block and checkpoint production. A remediation was identified and is being propagated to all validator nodes and service providers, reinforcing network operability and preserving transaction settlement integrity across the protocol.
