According to Evercore, Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell is expected to send a message this week indicating the central bank’s openness to making 50 basis points cuts.

Currently, the existing rate stands at 525-550 basis points. There’s a 77.5% probability of the rate being reduced to 500-525 basis points, while there is a 22.5% chance it might drop to 475-500 basis points.
