Semler Scientific, a U.S.-listed entity, has strategically appointed Joe Burnett as its Bitcoin Strategic Director, signaling a robust commitment to expanding its cryptocurrency portfolio. The company unveiled an ambitious plan to amass 10,000 bitcoins by the close of 2025, scaling up to 42,000 by the end of 2026, and ultimately exceeding 105,000 bitcoins by 2027. This accumulation will be financed through a combination of equity, debt instruments, and operational cash flow, reflecting a diversified capital approach.

Eric Semler, Chairman of Semler Scientific, emphasized Burnett’s expertise in corporate Bitcoin treasury management as pivotal to achieving the firm’s long-term value creation objectives. Since the initial announcement of their Bitcoin treasury strategy in May 2024, the company has realized a notable 287% return on its Bitcoin holdings, translating to a valuation increase of approximately USD 177 million as of June 3, 2025. This performance underscores the effectiveness of their strategic asset allocation within the digital currency domain.
