Solana (SOL) Investor With 1M SOL Allocation Sells 733K HYPE, Cross-Chain Swaps USDC to Buy 142K SOL

COINOTAG News, citing on-chain data analyst Yu Jin, reported that an investor who secured a 1 million SOL allocation in June 2020 unloaded 733,000 HYPE in the last four hours, roughly $26.31 million. The trader then cross-chain swapped USDC back into SOL to acquire 142,000 SOL.

Earlier activity shows that in December 2024, shortly after HYPE‘s launch, the address sold 375,000 SOL at about $191 per SOL, swapped into roughly $70 million USDC, and funded the purchase of 2.52 million HYPE at an average price of $27.70. After ten months, the trader sold 408,900 HYPE at $38.30, swapped to USDC for about $15.68 million, then cross-chain returned to Solana to buy 81,100 SOL at $193 per SOL.

These on-chain signals illustrate disciplined asset rotation across SOL and HYPE positions, underpinned by cross-chain liquidity flows and ongoing portfolio rebalancing observed in the data stream tracked by Yu Jin.
