In parallel, Tokyo-listed firm Metaplanet revealed the purchase of an additional 1,112 BTC at an average price of $105,435 per bitcoin, totaling an investment of $117.2 million. This latest acquisition brings Metaplanet’s total bitcoin holdings to 10,000 BTC, with an aggregate cost basis near $947 million, reflecting an average purchase price of $94,697 per BTC.
Notably, Strategy’s recent single transaction volume surpasses Metaplanet’s entire bitcoin inventory, underscoring its aggressive accumulation strategy. From a market valuation perspective, Strategy commands a substantial market capitalization of $106.892 billion, dwarfing Metaplanet’s market cap of approximately $7.9 billion. These developments highlight the contrasting scales and investment approaches of the two entities within the evolving cryptocurrency landscape.
