Trust Wallet Security Alert: Vulnerability in Browser Extension v2.68—Disable, Upgrade to v2.69 via Official Chrome Web Store

COINOTAG News reports that Trust Wallet has issued a security alert acknowledging a vulnerability in the Trust Wallet browser extension version 2.68. The advisory, dated December 26, confirms the risk and urges users to address the exposure promptly to protect vault safety and transaction integrity.

Users operating version 2.68 should immediately disable the extension and upgrade to 2.69 via the official Chrome Web Store listing to obtain the fix and reestablish a protected session.

Note that the issue does not affect the mobile version of the wallet or other browser extension versions; these deployments are not impacted by this vulnerability.
