UXLINK Deploys New Ethereum Mainnet Contract with 1 Billion Supply and 1:1 Swap — CEX Migration, Recovery Efforts & Compensation Plan Announced

On September 25, COINOTAG reported that UXLINK published a security incident update outlining a new contract to be deployed on the Ethereum mainnet with a total supply of 1 billion tokens and a 1:1 exchange with the legacy contract. The revised contract explicitly removes the mint-burn function and delegates cross-chain capability to a partner’s cross-chain service, reflecting a material change to tokenomics.

The announced migration framework separates centralized exchanges (CEX) from on-chain holders; eligibility will be determined by a snapshot taken at the time the hacker first moved funds. UXLINK expects initial CEX exchanges to be processed within 1–5 working days, with further compensation timing contingent on stablecoin recoveries. Most recovered tokens have been suspended from trading, while some remain in circulation, and a distinct compensation plan will be issued to impacted users.

UXLINK is executing asset-recovery operations across DEXs, cross-chain bridges, and CEX channels. Depending on recovery outcomes, the project has committed to a community compensation framework that may include buyback programs, staking rewards/benefits, and transaction incentives to restore liquidity and address losses in a transparent, verifiable manner.
