According to Whale Alert monitoring cited by COINOTAG News on August 28, institutional liquidity provider Cumberland executed an on-chain deposit of 22,289 ETH to Coinbase Institutional, with a reported USD equivalent of roughly $103 million.

Earlier the same day, COINOTAG reported a separate ETH transfer from Cumberland of approximately 25,200 ETH to Coinbase Institutional, valued near $116 million, per on-chain monitoring.

Combined, these wallet-to-exchange flows total 47,489 ETH — about $219 million — representing an increase in large-scale Ethereum deposits to an institutional custody venue, as recorded by Whale Alert.
