Prediction market platform Kalshi announced that it has added a former employee of former US President Barack Obama to its team as a policy advisor. Stephanie Cutter is joining Kalshi after leaving Precision Strategies, the communications firm she founded in 2013. The company plans to deepen its relationships in Washington DC and across the country with Cutter's involvement. Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour stated that Cutter's government and political background will be effective in delivering the message to the right people. The platform already has US government connections; for example, Donald Trump Jr. was appointed as a strategic advisor in January 2025.
