Binance has appointed SB Seker as its new Head of Asia Pacific, the exchange confirmed. In this role Seker will lead regional strategy, oversee day-to-day operations and drive regulatory engagement across the Asia Pacific market, aligning compliance and business priorities for one of the largest global cryptocurrency platforms.
Seker joins Binance from Crypto.com Group, where he served as Senior Vice President responsible for global product development and legal and regulatory affairs in the Asia Pacific and MENASA regions. His prior experience includes senior legal positions at Ant Group, Rothschild & Co and Amicorp Group, as well as early-career roles as a litigator in Australia and a central bank lawyer at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, reflecting extensive regulatory expertise.
