Editorial Policy
Explains COINOTAG's editorial principles, its content production and verification process, and its approach to AI-assisted production under editorial oversight.
1. Our Editorial Principles
COINOTAG is a media organization committed to providing accurate, timely, and independent information about the cryptocurrency and blockchain ecosystem. All of our content is produced around the principles of accuracy, transparency, impartiality, and reader benefit. Our news and analysis do not constitute financial advice; investment decisions are the sole responsibility of the user.
2. Content Production Process
A portion of our content is prepared through an AI-assisted production pipeline. This process includes the following steps: - Data collection: Compiling from market data, on-chain metrics, and publicly available sources. - Draft generation: Producing the initial draft via AI-assisted production. - Review: A separate AI review stage checks numerical consistency, entity consistency, and factual accuracy. - Editorial oversight: The COINOTAG editorial team owns the standards, prompts, and quality framework; it performs periodic sampling and signs off on content updates. For AI-assisted content, this is disclosed transparently (an "AI-Assisted" badge in the author byline and a process-level explanation).
3. Accuracy and Fact-Checking
Numerical data (price, volume, market capitalization, technical levels) is based on the sources available at the time of publication and may change over time. When content is materially updated, a "Content updated" state and the update date are clearly shown on the page. Identified errors are handled within the framework of our corrections policy.
4. Sources and Attribution
The data used in our content is compiled from multiple sources and cross-verified wherever possible. Proprietary (COINOTAG-specific) technical indicator and scoring data is attributed to the COINOTAG organization as the data provider.
5. Impartiality and Sponsored Content
Editorial content and advertising/sponsored content are clearly separated. Sponsored material is explicitly labeled. No advertising relationship influences our editorial judgment.
6. Artificial Intelligence and Editorial Oversight
COINOTAG uses artificial intelligence as a production and review tool; however, the publishing standards, prompts, and quality framework are owned by a real editorial team. Periodic sampling audits are conducted, and content updates pass through editorial sign-off. We do not claim that "a human wrote or read every line"; we state that the oversight and review at the process level are real.
