According to information from foreign sources, it was reported that senior executives of Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, resigned due to the approach of the CEO Changpeng Zhao towards regulatory investigations about the company.
The company’s general counsel Han Ng, chief strategy officer Patrick Hillmann, and deputy chief compliance officer Steven Christie informed Zhao that they decided to leave the company.

These resignations occurred after the recent departure of Matthew Price, a former IRS official who assumed global investigation and intelligence responsibilities at Binance.
Sources said that Binance responded immediately to the request for comment and added that the executives decided to leave due to Zhao’s response to an ongoing investigation by the Department of Justice.
At the time of the news, the price of Bitcoin was trading around $30,280. Following the news, BTC experienced a slight decrease and is currently trading at $30,208.
BNB, the native token of Binance, also experienced a 1.3% decrease from $238 to $234 with the news. The current price of BNB is $235.
