On July 22, data from EmberCN revealed a significant transaction involving a major crypto whale who acquired 7,487 ETH valued at approximately $28.15 million from Cumberland. Shortly after, this investor leveraged their position by borrowing 7.5 million USDT on Aave, using ETH as collateral to secure an additional 1,989 ETH. Over the past five days, this whale has strategically accumulated a total of 32,953 ETH, equating to around $117 million, through a combination of off-chain and on-chain purchases. The breakdown includes 11,003 ETH acquired from Cumberland and an on-chain purchase of 21,950 ETH funded by roughly $76.54 million. Currently, the whale’s portfolio comprises an estimated 56,000 ETH, with a market value near $211 million, underscoring a notable concentration of capital within the Ethereum ecosystem.
