Ethereum Fusaka Upgrade Clears Final Testnet, Eyes December Mainnet Launch with 400% Blob Storage Boost

COINOTAG News reports that the Ethereum Fusaka upgrade has cleared the final testnet validation and is slated for mainnet deployment around December 3. Hoodi completed the Fusaka simulation as the last of three testnets, following Holesky and Sepolia, which have already concluded upgrade testing. The rollout aims to deliver improved efficiency and lower transaction costs as part of Ethereum’s ongoing scalability program.

The upgrade introduces extended blob storage and the PeerDAS mechanism, both designed to bolster layer-2 scalability. Project documentation suggests blob space could rise by more than 400%, potentially enabling faster confirmations and lower gas usage. Market participants will monitor interoperability and performance as the network approaches the December milestone.
