LI.FI Raises $29 Million Funding to Expand DeFi Trading Across Perpetuals, Yields, and Prediction Markets
LI.FI, a crypto infrastructure startup, reportedly closed a $29 million financing round led by Multicoin Capital and CoinFund, bringing total funding to about $52 million, according to Fortune.
The round will fund expansion into multiple trading verticals, including perpetual futures, yield opportunities, prediction markets, and lending markets, with the company also planning to hire additional staff.
Co‑founder and CEO Philipp Zentner noted that LI.FI has been profitable through transaction fees, but declined to disclose revenue figures. As of October, monthly trading volume reached about $8 billion, roughly seven times the level of the prior year, and the firm employs more than 100 people.
