WisdomTree has launched a digital asset fund that signals a closer tie between traditional asset management and blockchain finance. The WisdomTree Equity Premium Income Digital Fund (ticker EPXC, fund code WTPIX) seeks to provide equity exposure through a tokenized, income-focused strategy.

The vehicle aims to track the Volos US Large Cap Target 2.5% PutWrite Index, a systematic PutWrite approach that generates income by selling cash-secured puts. The strategy references contracts linked to the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust (SPY), rather than direct S&P 500 holdings.
