An anonymous wallet that has been making headlines with its large transfers has once again sprung into action. According to data provided by Whale Alert, the wallet recently transferred approximately 14,159 BTC, worth around $420 million, to another unknown wallet.
Continued Activity of the Anonymous Wallet
With this latest transfer, the anonymous wallet has now moved a total of 25,000 BTC, equivalent to $760 million, since January 30. It is worth noting that the wallet’s previous transfer of 5,000 BTC on January 30 resulted in a 4.2% drop in Bitcoin price.
Connection to Binance
Following a transfer of 4,451 BTC worth $135 million a few days ago, Chinese journalist Colin Wu commented on the wallet’s connection to Binance. Wu claimed that all the Bitcoin in this address originated from Binance’s hot wallets on May 25.
As of now, Bitcoin has gained 0.5% in value in the past 24 hours and is trading at $29,919.
