Phantom Unveils Embedded Wallet for Solana at Breakpoint Conference, Simplifies User Registration

On September 20, Phantom introduced an innovative embedded wallet during the Solana Breakpoint conference, streamlining the new user registration process for developers. According to COINOTAG, this cutting-edge wallet eliminates the need for a mnemonic phrase; users can establish a secure self-hosted account utilizing just an email address and a four-digit PIN. The wallet is fully equipped, offering functionalities such as Swap, balance checks, and transaction monitoring.

Earlier reports from COINOTAG highlighted that Phantom secured its first acquisition by taking over the NFT platform Bitski, which is supported by a16z, in late May. As a result of this acquisition, Phantom has integrated the “embedded wallet” feature within Solana, further simplifying the user experience. This move marks a significant milestone for Phantom, enhancing its capabilities and services within the crypto ecosystem.
