According to recent analysis by COINOTAG published on March 26th, the performance of Bitcoin and Ethereum is poised to be among the weakest in recent history for the first quarter of 2025. Pav Hundal, Chief Analyst at Swyftx, indicates that barring an unexpected market surge, a remarkable rebound appears unlikely in the remaining days of the quarter. Hundal suggests the crypto landscape may experience a period of “blind flying” until mid-April, when clarity on U.S. tariff policies is expected. Interestingly, data from CoinGlass reveals that Ethereum (ETH) has incurred a substantial decline of 37.98% this quarter, its worst performance for a first quarter since 2018, which recorded a drop of 46.61%. Bitcoin (BTC), on the other hand, has faced a decline of 6.49%, marking its worst performance for this period since 2020.
