In a recent analysis by COINOTAG News, prominent economist Youwei Yang from Bit Mining has voiced a cautious yet optimistic forecast for Bitcoin’s trajectory towards 2025. According to Yang, the cryptocurrency might achieve a valuation between $180,000 and $190,000; however, he warns investors of possible short-term volatility. “The Bitcoin market could face significant fluctuations, especially during bearish trends in global equities, where prices could dip to approximately $80,000,” he explained. Despite these anticipated pullbacks, Yang believes that the overarching movement of Bitcoin will maintain a bullish stance, influenced by historical trends and its growing adoption. Furthermore, he highlights potential headwinds for Bitcoin’s journey in the coming year, including geopolitical tensions and regulatory uncertainties that could impact market stability, which were also not present in last year’s estimate of $75,000 for 2024.
