COINOTAG News reported on December 10 that Brevis, a ZK Rollup-driven smart contract platform, formed a strategic collaboration with Aster, a multi-chain DEX. Aster brings features such as yield-bearing collateral and hidden orders, and the partnership targets the enduring challenge for DEXs: balancing speed, security and privacy.

Under the alliance, Brevis will shift on-chain compute workloads off-chain and enable low-cost verification on-chain through efficient ZK proofs. The joint architecture aims to deliver execution speed on par with centralized exchanges while maintaining cryptographic security validation and preserving user privacy.

The collaboration seeks to protect privacy of user position data without sacrificing overall market transparency, aligning with industry best practices for secure, scalable, and private DeFi trading.
