On March 7th, Galaxy Research’s Vice President, Christine Kim, released a detailed summary of the recent 152nd Ethereum All Core Developers’ Call (ACDC). During this significant call, the Ethereum development team focused on the advancements related to the Holesky and Sepolia upgrades. A strategic consensus was reached regarding the testing of Pectra, a critical component of Ethereum’s ongoing evolution. Developers are prioritizing the stabilization of Holesky, projecting a timeline of approximately three weeks for its restoration to a reliable state. Furthermore, a shadow fork of Holesky will be initiated, effectively replicating the existing state and on-chain environment of the original public testnet, which is crucial for rigorous testing. This methodical approach underlines Ethereumโs commitment to enhancing its infrastructure while aligning with best practices in blockchain development.
