COINOTAG news reported on September 26 that Fractal Bitcoin announced the open-sourcing of the BRC-20 protocol via their social platform. This comes in the wake of the Ordinals open-source release on September 14. This initiative is poised to facilitate developers in simplifying the analysis and development of applications centered around the BRC-20. Drawing from the open-source foundation of Ordinals, the BRC-20, and other protocols, Fractal plans to roll out additional protocol implementations, such as the Runes protocol index component. This progressive action aims at establishing a robust, developer-friendly source code framework.
