Grayscale Acquires 318.857 BTC from Coinbase Prime, Worth $21.56 Million

In a significant transaction reported by COINOTAG on October 16, data from Arkham revealed that Grayscale has acquired a total of 318.857 BTC from Coinbase Prime, equivalent to approximately $21.56 million. This strategic move underscores Grayscale’s ongoing commitment to expanding its cryptocurrency holdings. 

The breakdown of the acquisition shows that the Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust received 199.501 BTC, while the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust added 119.356 BTC to its reserves. These transactions highlight Grayscale’s continuing efforts to enhance its asset management strategy and capitalize on opportunities within the crypto market. As institutional interest in Bitcoin remains buoyant, such movements may signal confidence in the cryptocurrency’s long-term viability.
