On December 16, 2023, Justin Sun made headlines by withdrawing 52,905 ETH from Lido, a transaction valued at approximately $209 million, according to data from Spot On Chain. This withdrawal forms part of a more extensive acquisition strategy, where Sun accumulated a total of 392,474 ETH from February to August through three different wallets, averaging a purchase price of around $3,027 per ETH. His current profits from these investments are estimated at $349 million, reflecting a notable 29% appreciation in value. Furthermore, back in October, Sun had previously unstaked 80,251 ETH, valued at $131 million, shortly sending it to Binance. This move coincided with a 5% decline in ETH prices, underscoring the sensitive nature of market reactions to large transactions compared to Sun’s trading activities.
