COINOTAG news, September 22: Foreign media reports indicate that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has collaborated with former Apple design director Jony Ive to create revolutionary AI hardware for individual use. Ive confirmed on September 21 that they are currently seeking external investment. By the end of this year, the new company is projected to raise up to $1 billion in funding. The project team is composed of only 10 employees, including two pivotal contributors who previously worked with Ive on the development of the iPhone. Although specific details about the product remain undisclosed, previous speculation linked it to touch screen technology inspired by the first-generation iPhone. However, these insights have yet to be officially validated.
