Utilizing the Wormhole protocol, the hacker executed a cross-chain transfer to Ethereum. Currently, the assailant’s Ethereum wallet holds approximately 4400.74 ETH, valued at around $17.25 million, while their associated Solana address contains an estimated $1.5 million. This incident underscores the ongoing security challenges that decentralized platforms face, placing emphasis on the need for robust risk management strategies in the cryptocurrency market.
