Trump’s Approval Rating Holds Steady Amid Poll Findings: Insights on U.S. Public Opinion

On February 26th, COINOTAG News reported that a recent Reuters/Ipsos poll indicates a steady approval rating for U.S. President Trump, with 44% of respondents expressing satisfaction with his performance during his first month in office. Notably, despite significant governmental firings and shifts in the U.S. position on the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the public sentiment towards him has not dramatically changed. The survey results reveal that 50% of participants recorded dissatisfaction with Trump’s actions, representing a slight decrease from the previous week’s figures, and remaining within a margin of error of +/- 3 percentage points. Overall, Trump’s approval appears to be more robust than during most periods of his initial administration from 2017 to 2021. Interestingly, an online survey from last Friday to Sunday indicated that support for Trump’s immigration policies increased to 50%, a rise from 47% the prior week, with 42% expressing disapproval.
