On October 22, the AtomOne chain successfully forked from Cosmos Hub’s Proposal No. 848, marking a significant milestone in blockchain governance. The newly established independent governance blockchain, GovGen, has garnered the backing of 50 validators, enhancing validator voting rights by eliminating those tied to delegation. This strategic move aims to bolster security, adaptability, and inclusiveness within the Cosmos ecosystem while streamlining decentralized governance processes. In terms of tokenomics, a total of 96.99 million ATONE tokens have been allocated to holders of ATOM, fostering community engagement. Additionally, the community pool received 5.38 million ATONEs, and another 5.38 million were reserved for the AtomOne Treasury DAO.
