In a significant move, Metaplanet, a publicly traded entity based in Japan, has bolstered its cryptocurrency portfolio by acquiring an additional 156 bitcoins. This acquisition was executed at an average price of 12,952,147 Japanese Yen, which equates to approximately $86,151, culminating in an investment of 2.021 billion yen. The company’s total holdings have now surged to 2,391 BTC, with an overall average purchase cost set at 12,475,149 yen per Bitcoin, representing a substantial total investment of 29.828 billion yen.

Noteworthy growth trends have been observed within Metaplanet’s Bitcoin accumulations. Between July 1, 2024, and September 30, 2024, the Bitcoin holdings experienced a remarkable increase of 41.7%. Furthermore, projections suggest a continued upward trajectory, with anticipated increments of 30.9% from October 1, 2024, to December 31, 2024, and a subsequent forecast of 31.8% growth from January 1, 2025, to March 31, 2025.
