Additionally, Office of Management and Budget Director Russell Vought disclosed Bitcoin holdings in a Coinbase wallet, valued between $1,001 and $15,000, with plans for divestment. Other notable disclosures include National Intelligence Director Tulsi Gabbard, who has investments in Bitwise Bitcoin ETF Trust and Bitcoin, both worth between $15,001 and $50,000, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth reflecting similar figures.
Moreover, Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent reported iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF holdings worth $250,001 to $500,000, subject to future divestment, while Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy detailed Bitcoin assets significantly exceeding this threshold. Abra CEO Bill Barhydt commented on the growing influence of the crypto industry in politics, suggesting that regulatory clarity may soon emerge.
