Play Solana has officially announced the launch of its latest NFT collection, “Player2”, with minting commencing on June 16th. This release targets four distinct groups: holders of Player1 NFTs, PSG1 presale participants, applicants through the official system, and selected whitelist community members. The total issuance is capped at 8,000 NFTs, with Player1 holders entitled to claim one free token, while PSG1 presale participants gain direct minting access.
The application phase introduces two participation options: locking 1 SOL to enhance selection probability or applying without locking, with unsuccessful applicants receiving refunds on mint day. Whitelist members benefit from a priority, first-come-first-served minting opportunity via Magic Eden. Both Player1 and Player2 NFTs accrue experience points (XP) at an identical rate within the Play Solana ecosystem, qualifying holders for upcoming Token Generation Event (TGE) rewards and PLAY token distributions, with Player1 holders receiving a larger share prior to TGE.
Additionally, these NFTs serve as playable characters in “Play Solana: Origins” and future titles, unlocking exclusive in-game rewards and enhancing user engagement through utility-driven digital assets.
