Onchain Foundation Research Director Leon Waidmann on Tuesday published data showing BlackRock’s cryptocurrency ETFs generated a combined annualized revenue of $260 million, with the Bitcoin ETF accounting for $218 million and the Ethereum ETF contributing $42 million. The figures underline the commercial scale of BlackRock’s crypto product suite and provide a measurable reference point for institutional performance analysis.
Waidmann noted that the observed profitability of BlackRock’s cryptocurrency ETF could encourage more TradFi firms to offer regulated crypto investment vehicles. Market participants and traditional pension funds increasingly view BlackRock’s offering as a benchmark when assessing regulated exposure to digital assets, according to the Onchain Foundation data release.
